So our pretty princess has had her little heels poked 6 times since last Friday. Poor baby! She cries and it breaks my heart! Her heels are so tiny she's running out of places to prick. The good news is that her bilirubin level has finally come down. It got as high as 16, but was 12 on Wednesday. We're hoping for 10 or less today. She goes for her 2 week check up on Wednesday, but we weighed her today at the doctor's and she is 6lbs 3.5oz -- .5 oz above her birth weight! YAY!! For the baby that didn't eat for the first 3 or 4 days of life, this is big news! She is nursing well and sleeping good! At night she eats about every 3 hours and since I've mastered the art of nursing her while she's on her side, I get good rest too!
The dogs are doing great with her. As you can see, Kirby can't stand being away from her. He tries to fit through the bars on the gate. He's way to big for that!
Tate finally realized that she's in the house and has decided that she's not a threat for his food. He now likes to sniff her and dodge the swing!

awww...haha...I love your little movie of her and I loved the picture of the dogs outside her room! SO cute!! Yay for Makayla gaining some weight! I figured she'd be a small fry like you though! :)
