I thought the once a week update was enough on this blog, but someone (Charlotte) informed me that it pretty much stinks. I promise to try and do better! :)
Makayla was 3 weeks old yesterday! Time has gone so fast. We had to take her to get her heel pricked AGAIN. This time for her newborn screening. After waiting at the hospital for an hour, it went well. They didn't take very much and the lady warmed it first so it didn't take long.
Afterwards we went to Chic-Fila. It's amazing how having a baby makes even the smallest task complicated. We knew she was getting hungry, especially after all of that crying, but who wants to breastfeed in the middle of Chic-Fila?? I didn't have a bottle pumped since I still just have the manual pump and it is a pain, but I did have some formula I didn't want to give her. She was asleep so we couldn't decide if we wanted to go in and eat and chance her waking up, or go through the drive thru and head home. Jacob was driving and wanted a salad, which is hard to eat while driving, so we went in a hoped for the best. Of course our little angel slept the whole time and we made it home without a tantrum. But really, since when was it so hard to decide - dine in or drive thru??

I totally understand about the dine in or drive through! We still do that! It does get better when they can sit in a booster seat but then you run the risk of food flying everywhere! :-)
oh Cat! I LOVE these pictures! I'm super emotional all the time, and I get so teary eyed when I see her! She is so beautiful!!
