Today I was going through my daily blog stalking routine and read the newest blog on Bring the Rain. Today's entry reminds me of how blessed I am to have a healthy, happy, beautiful daughter. I sat down today to rock her to sleep for her nap and was overwhelmed with gratitude. I am so very lucky and thankful to be able to hold her and rock her and laugh with her. I love to look at her sweet face and know that she loves me just because I am her mommy, and how that is enough for her. I hope that I am everything she needs in a parent, because she is more than I ever could have asked for in a daughter.
Sorry for the sappy post, I suppose the emotion comes with her fast approaching birthday, or maybe it is just one of those days! Anyway, for all of you parents reading this, go on over to Bring the Rain, be inspired, and run to your babies and give them a giant hug!!

Cat, that is so sweet...you made me cry! I am so glad for you that you have a healthy happy baby. You are a wonderful mom! Thanks for posting this, I think it will remind others to be thankful for what they have, it is easy to overlook the small things.
