Baby Genius!

So everyone thinks their child is the smartest child in the world. But really, ours is! :)

Maybe not, but we think she ranks up there pretty high. Aside from the fact that she is above average on all motor skills, she is intellectually high too. She's learning new words everyday and has known many animal sounds for quite some time. I mean months. But, I'm a terrible mommy and haven't gotten it on tape yet. A few of the favorites I like to have her do: Lion, Bee (She stings herself when she does it-so cute!), cow, dog, cat, lamb, goat, horse, duck, chicken, and monkey (she puts her hands under her arms-again, so cute!). Here are a few videos of various sounds. Keep in mind she was way more interested in the camera than in performing! Sorry they are sideways, not sure how to fix that!!





Now for body parts. This kids knows most all of them. She can point out her own, and other people's: nose, mouth, eyes, ears, arms, feet, belly, and a new favorite - bo-bo! Here's a quick video. Sorry the videos are dark, next time I'll make sure the lights are on!



Finally, aside from being brillant, she's adorable too! Here are pictures for proof! By the way, the sore on her lip is from falling on a basket of legos, and the black eye is from swinging her baby gate open and going with it!!
