Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! Makayla gave Jacob and I the greatest gift of all and slept until almost 8:30 this morning! WOOHOO!! Of course this could be due to the fact that she had a 30 minute nap yesterday instead of the usual two hours, but who knows! :) Either way, we enjoyed the sleep!

I haven't posted in awhile, so let's catch up! Last weekend was fun. Saturday we met up with our friends Scott and Yomaida for Yomaida's birthday. We had lots of fun chatting and eating yummy mexican food!

This week was pretty uneventful, Jacob had off on Good Friday, but I had to make up a bad weather day. Saturday we had Easter with my family. The annual egg hunt and visit from the Easter bunny. Makayla was tired, cranky, and VERY much a mommy's girl. She didn't want much to do with anyone, but she did have fun hunting for eggs and helping Pap drive the truck to visit the cows.

Before the celebration Brandi and I took the kids to a bluebonnet patch to get a few pictures. We got some good ones!

Today (after sleeping in - did I mention we got to sleep in??) we got ready and went to church. Baby Girl was not excited to leave Mommy and Daddy at the nursery, but she survived. I hope you all have a great Easter Sunday too!!
