Makayla and I went to the library today and signed up for the summer reading program! For every 15 minutes we read together we get to color in a star. When we get our paper filled up we get to trade it in for prizes! YAY! Jacob and I love to read and luckily, so does Makayla! She wants us to read the same books over and over again. Then she 'reads' them to us. She knows the general idea on each page and tells us when she turns the pages. So cute! Her favorite book is Pinkalicious! Its so cute! Today we checked out 3 books and have read them about 50 times each! We've filled in at least 5 stars today. I was a big reader when I was little and I'm so glad she is too!
We stayed for Storytime too. The theme was turtles and snakes. We ran into three of her little friends from daycare and she had fun playing. We made a cute new friend too. It was a great morning! Makayla didn't want to leave, but we'd been there for an hour and a half and it was almost lunchtime!
