Last night Makayla {finally} started soccer! It was suppose to start March 10, but was rained out then we had Spring Break, so last night was the first night. Of course it poured down rain, but not until it was over. It just sprinkled a bit during practice.
IT.WAS.SO.CUTE!!!! Makayla is a year or so younger than most of the kids on the team, so she looked so tiny compared to them!! I was pretty proud of her, really. She listened to the coaches and followed along with the drills and was pretty good! She can dribble the ball pretty well - as long as she doesn't have to turn! There were a few times we had to get get her from another game/field because she never turned! She also got a little sad during the 'game' that she couldn' always kick the ball. She was adorable and had a great time! Can't wait until next week!
Coach Richard had his hands full with Makayla and Noah! It wasn't their turn to be 'in the game', but they wanted to run out on the field!

Ummm... she looks like a natural to me! I love the little shin guards; they have to be so small! She is wearing the right number too. Mia Hamm is #9, and she is the best female soccer player of all time!
