What a busy, fun weekend! Friday after school, Makayla and I headed to Emory to the Rains County Fair. My nephew and two of my cousins participated in the Mutton Bustin' Contest. They were so cute!! Connor wasn't too sure about getting on the sheep and didn't stay on long, but he was so proud of himself!! Brayden and Bryce are a bit older and had some strategy worked out. They stayed on a bit longer and did great too! We had fun at the fair, even though Makayla's behavior left a bit to be desired. I'm blaming it on a long day at Pre-School and lots going on that night, but I gotta say, I'm not a fan of the 'threes'. She is so sassy and isn't being the best 'first time listener'. These spells usually coincide with times where she is sleepy, but still. It gets embarassing!!!
{Sorry some of the pics are blurry, I'm still learning how to use my new camera!}

Saturday we met up with our besties Drew, Kate, Emily, and Reid and headed to the Plano Balloon Festival. Kate and I took the girls two years ago. I was looking back at
that post and wow, lots of changes!! First, it was HOT this year, but last time it was mid 80's. The girls have grown up so much. I'm super glad that our girls are growing up together and are such good friends. We stayed for the balloon launch, but headed out to a yummy dinner at Mooyah and missed the balloon glow. It was a great night and Makayla was back to her sweet, happy, (listening!!) self!

Today we headed off to church and now Papa is here and we're watching the Cowboys. Go Cowboys!!! (I have a dream that Makayla will marry one of Jason Witten's sons, so we have to cheer on her future Father in Law!!) Hope y'all have a good week!
