On Saturday our neighborhood hosted A Grand Christmas. Brandi and the boys came up for a fun filled day of elf hat making, writing letters to Santa, a carriage ride, and of course a visit with the big man himself! We had a great time! We were just finishing up our letters to Santa when they annouced he was coming in his sleigh! Makayla got so excited! She started squealing and jumping up and down. I don't think she knew exactly what was going on, but everyone was so excited she got excited too! She ran right up to greet Santa and we were third in line! She kept trying to cut in front of the other two children and give him her letter, so funny! Of course when her time came she freaked out and started crying. But don't worry, we still dropped our letter off! :)

So cute and typical. I was at the mall the other day and there were more kids crying at Santa than I could count! That must be an awful job.
Your neighborhood is so active--we hardly know our neighbors.

hahahaha... I cannot get over that picture of her screaming to get off of his lap!! haha... she is so precious!
