Merry Christmas!

I hope that you all had as great of a Christmas as we did! We had several celebrations and enjoyed every minute!

We started Christmas Eve and Pap and Granny's house with Brandi, Brian and the boys. We ate steamed shrimp and nachos! YUMMY!! The kids opened gifts from Granny and Pap and we all had a blast!

Christmas morning Makayla woke up bright and early, ready to see what Santa had brought!! (A bounce o lean thingy and a Tinkerbell 4 wheeler!!) She was so cute and enjoyed the gifts!

Christmas Day Granny, Pap, Brandi, Brian, and the boys came over here for Christmas dinner. The kids opened more presents and we all got to visit again.

On Friday, Jacob's sister, Jennie, her husband Nathan and the kids came in from Illinois. We went to Papa's for more food and of course more presents! We don't get to see them often, so it was so nice to all be together! We spent the night and stayed most of Saturday too. Today they came over here to watch the Cowboys game. (HORRIBLE, EMBARASSING, OMG!!) Anyway, aside from that, we had a great time!

We've decided that since we rarely have overnight guests we should make the guest room a playroom instead. So we put up the bed and all and transformed it! WOW, Makayla has A LOT of toys!! But it is so nice to have them all in one place and not all over the house! It actually looks like grown-ups live in our house again! YAY!!
