Time Out

I would love to say that my child is perfect. Honestly, I think she's pretty close. But she can get a little sassy and she loves to whine. She cries sometimes and whines because I won't pick her up, or because we won't let her do something she wants to do. On these occassions, we put her in time out. It started at daycare, Kim puts her in time out when she doesn't share, and things like that.

Well, the other day, we look around and see that her doll in the time out spot. We say, "where's your doll?" she replies, "in time out". Great. The next morning, we hear her talking in her crib. So I get up to go get her. When I walk in, she tells me that Bear and Blankie are in Time Out. Who knows what they did, but they are in Time Out!

I will say, Time Out really works for us. Put her in there, set the timer, talk to her about what she did and what she SHOULD do, and she comes out a happy girl!! Not sure how doll and Bear handle it though!
