Wow! Has it really been over two weeks since I've posted? How horrible!!

School started for me last week. Jacob has been coaching since the end of July. The kids came to school yesterday. I think its going to be a great year! I've got a good group of Geometry students this year and a brand new classroom to teach them in! YAY!!

Makayla started back at Mrs. Kim's last week. It was rough dropping off the first week, but she's doing better now! She really loves Mrs. Kim and her friends at daycare. We are so lucky!!

The last Sunday before I went back to work we took Makayla to the Aquarium. It was crowded! Way more than I expected at 2pm on a Sunday!! But we had fun! Makayla liked all of the animals!





This past Saturday I took Makayla to her first gymnastics class! She's a natural!! She loves to jump around and do flips and hang from bars and such. She had the best time!! At first she was the only kid in her class, so she had plenty of time to warm up to her coach. Ashleigh was great! In no time at all Makayla was following her around, holding her and and letting Ashleigh carry her. She LOVED the trampoline and swinging into the foam pit. She liked it all, but those (and swinging from the bar, touching her toes to her hands) were her favorites! Ashleigh was really impressed with her strength and coordination! We are going to a birthday party at ASI (the gymnastics place) this weekend so we'll skip this week, but I hope to get her enrolled soon so we can go on a regular basis.
