Wow! 2 posts in one day! Lucky you!

Makayla is growing up so fast. I really want to remember what she like right now. I try not to be one of those moms who brag constantly on their child. I know my child can be a brat, but really, she's pretty impressive a lot of the time too. So this is my brag post. You can skip it if you want! :)

She is talking in complete sentences, she can answer questions and carry on a real conversation. If we ask what she did at daycare or somewhere she can tell us. The other day we went to my friend's house. She has two dogs that Makayla LOVES. Makayla ended up getting stuck in the doggie door. {It was funny, go ahead, laugh!} Anyway, if you ask her what we did at Savannah's she'll tell you, "I got stuck in the doggy door like this" and bend over to show how she was stuck! She likes to ask me if I remember people. She'll say, "Member Jake and Chance Mommy?" or "Member Papa?" Its too cute! She is funny and sweet and just amazing!

I can't get over how smart she is. She can figure just about anything out and has an incredible memory. She remembers thing I forget all the time!! {I know, I can be forgetful, but still, Impressive!!} She 'reads' her books to me (from memory) and sings her ABC's. {She messes up EFG and sometimes forgets YZ, but still, pretty good!} She knows her colors and a lot of shapes. We are working on counting, but she's getting pretty good! She loves to sing the Wonder Pets song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

She is also very independent and, well, sassy! She now goes to the potty all by herself. She doesn't even tell us sometimes, we just hear the flush and go check on her! She hasn't had an accident in 2 weeks! She will often say, "I go potty Mommy. Don't follow me!!" Or, if I do follow her, "Get away from me Mommy!" {I've been talking to her about hurting people with her words!}

She loves to dress up and dance around. She loves to play with baby dolls. She will pick out one or two at daycare and 'take care' of them all day. She feeds them, burps them, wraps them in her blankie and gives them naps - so cute! {Too bad she probably won't have a little brother or sister, she'd make a great big sister!} She loves to spin around and dance, to hop and run. Hide and seek is her favorite game. She hides and we find her, we hide and she finds us. Its so funny! She could play for hours! Swings and slides, sidewalk chalk, dirt - all things she loves! She likes to paint and color too!

I know you probably don't care to know all of that, but I want to be able to remember her as she is, right now. We just love her...can you tell??
