We've been busy lately!! Last weekend we worked on Holiday decorating. Jacob put up lights and a couple of outside things. We went to WalMart to grab a few things and ran into Santa! He was sitting there waiting for Makayla so we could take pictures! She was so excited at our surprise sighting and went right to him. No smiles, but a look of complete awe!
Friday night we met up with Aunt Brandi and the fam and headed over to the North Pole of Texas. There will a zillion lights, hot chocolate, cute little cutouts, and a train ride through Santa Workshop where the man himself came to visit with us! We had a great time!
Saturday Santa came to our neighborhood clubhouse. We got faces painted, wrote letters to Santa and then sat on his lap for the photo ops. Makayla was SO EXCITED when he and Mrs. Claus came riding up in the carriage, but got a little stage fright when it came sitting time. After seeing it was safe for Hunter and Connor, she handed her letter over and sat there for a few minutes.
She spent Saturday night with Papa so Jacob and I could go to a Christmas Party. We had a great time, but missed Makayla, we were glad to get her back today!! I hope y'all are having a great holiday season as well!
