I love Christmas break! Today was the first official day of holiday break. We headed to the Gaylord Texan to see the ICE exhibit. AMAZING! The entire thing is made of ice and it was literally 9 degrees in there! They gave us parkas to wear to keep warm. Makayla was so cute in hers, she looked like a little penguin! So funny! She was perfect! She had the best time catching snow on her tongue, looking at all of the ice and seeing her 'friend the Grinch'. She loved going down the ice slide too! It was so fun watching her and the exibit was fantastic! We had a great time. The hotel is so beautiful too, so much to see!

All four of us took a nap when we got home, it was so nice! Then we headed to Mrs. Kim's for a Christmas party with all of our daycare friends! We ate dinner, decorated cookies, and painted an ornament. Such a fun time! We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful person keeping our daughter. We will miss her and her family very much next year!

This is going to be a fun week, we are meeting friends at Northpark Mall one day, Makayla has a date with her little boyfriend Noah to watch a movie, and of course CHRISTMAS! I just love Makayla's excitment about Christmas. She adores Santa and Christmas lights. She loves looking at Christmas trees and always wants to know who 'made' them. She'll say, "Think Santa made that tree Mommy." It's so funny! Love her!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I know you must be enjoying your time off. I have to admit that I am a little jelous of the teacher schedule this time of year! We received you Christmas card--thank you! Makayla is so cute! We are so busy here that I didn't even get cards out this year--maybe we will start a new tradition of Valentines Day cards; that gives me some extra time to get my act together!
Keep up the blogging. I enjoy seeing all of your pictures!
