Last night Jacob and I had lots of plans! A friend of mine from WHS is getting married and was having her lingere/bachelorette party, and a guy Jacob coaches with was having a 30th birthday party. (Our neighbors also invited us to a dinner party, but we were already booked) I had to figure out how to be in two places at once and decided a compromise was best. I went to the lingere party before the actual bachelorette party and then to the birthday party with Jacob.
Jacob had to work a track meet all day and didn't get home until just in time for the birthday party at 7. The sitter came around 4:30 so I could head to the lingere pre-party. We had a great time. Lots of yummy snacks and beverages and fun gifts! It was so nice to see everyone. I got home in time to put Makayla down and visit with the sitter, Mandi, a former student whom I just love!! :)
Jacob came home, got ready, and off we went! No pictures, but we had a lot of fun! It was great getting to meet the other coaches' wives and make friends. They had yummy fajitas and margaritas and we stayed until after midnight.
It is so nice to get out and be grown-ups every once in a while!! Thanks, Mandi!! :)
